Story

The relationship between Petit Clair and Amber Logic began during a high-stakes emergency. Just before the launch of their new season, Petit Clair’s inventory synchronization system, which connected their warehouse to Shopify, experienced major malfunctions. The issue was so severe that it brought the entire online store to a halt, threatening the success of the season. With the business at a standstill, Amber Logic was brought in to resolve the problem. Within 24 hours, we developed an ad-hoc solution that got their business back online, ensuring their new season could launch without further delays.

Following the successful emergency fix, Amber Logic continued to work closely with Petit Clair to stabilize and optimize their operations. We ensured seamless data transmission between Shopify and the warehouse, eliminating any lingering synchronization issues that could disrupt inventory management. Our work also extended to the warehouse team, where we assisted with optimizing location configurations and refining the picking process. By streamlining these workflows, we helped Petit Clair improve efficiency and reduce fulfillment errors.

We led the process, utilizing the warehouse management system as an ad-hoc auditing platform. Custom scripts were developed to ingest and process scanned data, ensuring that audit results were accurate and outliers were identified. This approach simplified the audit process and ensured all inventory was accounted for.

To further support Petit Clair’s operations, Amber Logic built a custom dashboard for managing their hub-and-spoke inventory replenishment system. This dashboard enabled seamless movement of inventory from the warehouse to retail stores, ensuring the correct amounts were reliably sent to each location. It also centralized and streamlined the process of looking up orders, saving the back-office team time and reducing administrative overhead.

A standout project we developed for Petit Clair was a custom in-store kiosk solution. We built a special version of their website that allowed customers to place online orders from within the retail store. This unique kiosk experience provided a valuable service to in-store shoppers, while also driving additional online sales. Amber Logic also handled the physical deployment of the devices, ensuring a smooth rollout.
